That is the whole difference between a cruise transfer and an airport one. A missed flight is rebooked; a missed sailing is a flight to the next port at your own expense. So we treat boarding windows as hard deadlines and pack accordingly.

A fortnight at sea is not carry-on. Tell us the bag count when you book and we send a vehicle with the boot to match, rather than discovering the problem in your driveway.
Sydney has two working cruise terminals on opposite sides of the harbour, and they are not interchangeable. Turning up at the wrong one is an hour you do not have.
Circular Quay, on the western side of the harbour under the Bridge. The one most people picture, and the one most large ships use. Drop-off is kerbside and porters take the bags from there.
Traffic around the Quay is the tightest part of the run — we allow for it.

Simpler access from our direction than the Quay, in practice.

Getting this right is worth the two-minute phone call.
Get a free quote →Cruise lines issue a boarding window rather than a departure time, and they close check-in well before the ship moves. Miss it and there is no next service — you are flying to the first port at your own cost, if the itinerary even allows it.
So the margin we build into a cruise run is deliberately larger than for a flight. From the Tablelands that usually means leaving mid-morning for an afternoon boarding rather than cutting it fine, and it means we would rather have you at the terminal early with a coffee than watching the clock on the M5.
Disembarkation runs to a schedule and the terminal empties in waves. Tell us your assigned disembarkation time and we will be there for it — and if customs is slow, the car waits without the meter running, because there is no meter.
Cruise luggage is bigger than flight luggage. Fourteen days at sea means formal nights, and formal nights mean cases that would never go on a domestic flight. Tell us how many and how large when you book so the right vehicle comes rather than the smallest one that technically seats you.
Both terminals carry the same fare. From Goulburn, White Bay at Rozelle is $419 and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is $419 for one or two passengers — about $40 over the Sydney Airport fare. Every town and every seat count is published on its cruise page and on the fares page.
Tell us the town, the terminal, the sailing date and how many are travelling and the pickup is confirmed in writing at that fare.
Published for every town. From Goulburn: $419 to White Bay and $419 to the Overseas Passenger Terminal for one or two passengers; from $379 at Tallong. Every seat count is on your town’s cruise page.
Your cruise line's boarding documents say so. Large ships that fit under the Harbour Bridge generally use the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay; taller ships use White Bay at Rozelle. Ring us with the ship and date if you are unsure.
Earlier than you would for a flight. Boarding windows close well before the ship sails and there is no next service. We work it out from your window and build in more margin than an airport run.
Yes — just tell us how many cases and how big. Cruise packing is heavier than flight packing, and knowing that in advance changes which vehicle we send rather than what you pay.
Yes. Give us your assigned disembarkation time and we will be there. If customs runs slow the car waits — there is no meter and no waiting fee.
Please do. It helps us plan the vehicle for both ends, and it is the same fixed fare in each direction.
Ring and ask. Newcastle and Eden come up occasionally and we will quote them, but they are a different job from a Sydney run and we would rather price them properly than guess.
Each town has its own page covering the run to both terminals, the earlier departure a ship needs and how to get a fixed price for that address.
Coming home instead? Cruise terminal pickups covers the same the towns we service. Terminal detail: the OPT and White Bay.
One call, one number, confirmed in writing. No deposit and nothing charged until after drop-off.
Not sure which option suits you? Ask and we will tell you honestly.
