Where it is

Where is the White Bay Cruise Terminal?

White Bay is at Rozelle, on the harbour’s western arm about six kilometres from the CBD. It sits west of the Harbour Bridge, so the ships that use it are the mid-sized ones able to pass underneath.

Parking

Some short-term parking is available off James Craig Road, but it is not built for leaving a car through a fortnight at sea.

Getting there without a car

Public transport to White Bay is thin compared with Circular Quay — there is no train station at the door and the bus options are limited. That is the main reason people book a private transfer to this terminal in particular, even from inside Sydney.

Not sure which terminal you need?

Your ticket says. The difference is the Harbour Bridge: ships too tall to pass under it berth at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. If yours is the other one, see Overseas Passenger Terminal — Circular Quay, east of the bridge, for the largest ships.

Getting there from the Tablelands

The ship will not wait, so we plan backwards from boarding.

We work from your boarding window rather than the ship’s departure time, and add the margin the city end actually needs on the day you are travelling. A Saturday morning boarding is not the same drive as a Tuesday one.

Every one of the the towns we service we service has its own cruise transfer page with the local detail on it. Tell us the terminal, the date, the passenger count and roughly how many bags, and the fixed price comes back in writing.

Common questions about White Bay Cruise Terminal transfers.

Where exactly is the White Bay Cruise Terminal?

White Bay is at Rozelle, on the harbour’s western arm about six kilometres from the CBD. It sits west of the Harbour Bridge, so the ships that use it are the mid-sized ones able to pass underneath.

Is there parking at the terminal?

Some short-term parking is available off James Craig Road, but it is not built for leaving a car through a fortnight at sea.

How do I get there from the Southern Tablelands?

There is no train or coach from this direction that suits a boarding window, so it is drive and park, or a pre-booked private transfer. We run door to terminal from every town we service.

How much does a transfer cost?

Published for every town: $10 over the Sydney Airport fare for that town. From Goulburn it is $419 for one or two passengers, from Tallong $395. Every seat count from one to eleven is on your town’s cruise page.

Will you fit our cruise luggage?

Tell us the bag count when you book and we send a vehicle with the boot to match. It is the question most quotes get wrong, so we ask it up front.

Who is driving you

Locally operated, accountable, and on the record.

We are a Goulburn-based operator working the Southern Tablelands, and this run is part of the same business as the airport work — the same vehicles, the same drivers and the same fixed-price-before-you-book approach.

Fares for every town we service are published on this site rather than quoted on the phone, so you can check a price before you speak to anybody.
