For the whole Southern Tablelands, Badgerys Creek is a shorter run than Kingsford Smith — and you turn off the Hume before Sydney traffic ever becomes your problem. If your flight goes from WSI, take it.
| Distance | Shorter |
| Sydney traffic | Avoided |
| Leave-by time | Later |
| Fixed fare | On request |
That single geographic fact is worth more to the Tablelands than to almost anywhere else. Getting to Kingsford Smith from Goulburn means running the full length of the Hume and then crossing the city's south-west on the M5 — and that last stretch is the only genuinely unpredictable part of the trip.
Badgerys Creek sits west of all of that. You come up the Hume, turn off before the suburbs thicken, and arrive without ever meeting the M5 in peak hour. Shorter distance, calmer driving, and a pickup time that lands later in the morning for the same departure.
For an early flight that difference is not academic. An hour later at the gate is an hour more sleep, and from out here that is the difference between a rough morning and a reasonable one.
We will say so if it is. WSI does not yet fly everywhere — route networks are still filling out, and plenty of international and regional services only operate from Kingsford Smith. If your itinerary is at T1, the extra drive is simply part of the trip and we plan it accordingly.
What we will not do is push you to the closer airport because it suits us. Tell us the flight and we will tell you which one you actually need.
Fares are being finalised. Rather than publish a placeholder number we would have to change, we quote WSI directly. Ring with your town and passenger count and you get a fixed price on the call — the same fixed-fare model as everything else on this site, just not yet in a printed table.
The first two thirds of a WSI run and a Sydney Airport run are identical. It is the ending that differs, and the ending is the part that used to cost you time.
Tell us your town, how many are travelling and the flight. We quote a fixed fare on the spot, confirm it in writing, and that is the figure you pay after drop-off.
No deposit, no card held, and no difference in the booking model just because the fare is not on a table yet.
From the Southern Tablelands, yes. Badgerys Creek sits west of the city, so you leave the Hume before reaching Sydney's south-west rather than crossing it. Kingsford Smith is on the far side of everything.
Published for every town and every seat count: from $325 at Tallong and $349 from Goulburn for one or two passengers, up to $549 from Araluen. WSI is $30 less than the same run to Mascot from every town, because the drive stops short of the M5 corridor. See the fares page or your town’s WSI page.
For the same departure time, yes — the drive is shorter and the unpredictable city stretch is gone. We still work the time backwards from your flight and confirm it in writing.
Yes, and the same way: we track the flight, so the car is there when you actually land rather than when you were scheduled to.
Whichever your airline flies from. Route networks at WSI are still growing and plenty of services only operate from Kingsford Smith. Tell us the flight and we will tell you honestly which airport you need.
No. Same fixed-fare model, no deposit, no card upfront, pay the driver after drop-off. Only the fare table is different, because that one is not printed yet.
Each town has its own page with the route north, what the new airport changes for that district and how to get a fixed price for the trip.
Coming the other way? WSI arrivals covers the same the towns we service. Flying from Mascot instead? Those fares are published in full.
One call, one number, confirmed in writing. No deposit and nothing charged until after drop-off.
Not sure which option suits you? Ask and we will tell you honestly.
