The closest corner of our map to Sydney, and it shows in the fares. Tallong at $355 is one of the cheapest transfers we run, and from anywhere in this region you are on dual carriageway within minutes of leaving the driveway.
| Localities serviced | 11 |
| Cheapest — South Marulan | $339 |
| Dearest fare | $499 |
| Route | Hume Highway (M31) |
| 6am flight — Marulan | 1:05 AM |
Marulan sits on the Hume itself, the last real stop before the Southern Highlands, and its service centres are a landmark for anybody who has driven this road. North-east of it, Tallong and Bungonia look out over the Shoalhaven gorges — Badgerys Lookout, Long Point, the Bungonia slot canyons and Lookdown. South Marulan runs down toward the limestone operations.
The rest of the region — Brayton, Carrick, Big Hill, Greenwich Park, Chatsbury, Mayfield, Cottawalla — is farming country either side of the highway between Goulburn and Marulan. Bannaby aside, everything here is a short run to an on-ramp.
Distance, plainly. Tallong is the closest locality we service to Sydney Airport and it prices accordingly at $355 for one or two passengers. Marulan is $355. Even the furthest locality in this region, Cottawalla, only reaches $459.
The practical effect is that a family of four from Marulan pays $385 between them for a door-to-terminal transfer — which is worth holding against four train tickets each way plus the Airport Link leg at the Sydney end.
Because you are closer, the pickup time for the same flight lands later. A 6am international departure means leaving Marulan around 1:05am rather than the 11:50pm a Braidwood passenger faces. From Tallong it is later still.
That is not a small thing when the alternative is a night in a Sydney hotel. It is also why this region gets a fair number of same-week bookings — the drive is short enough that people ring closer to the day.
Straight onto the Hume north through Mittagong and Picton, then the M31 and M5 into the airport.
One way to Sydney Airport, set by the passengers you book rather than per person. Each name links to that locality's own page with the full one-to-eleven table.

We service the whole Southern Tablelands. If your town sits on the boundary, try the regions either side — or just ring and we will tell you the fare.
$355 one way for one or two passengers, rising with the seat count. Every locality in Marulan & Hume North has its own published fare in the table above.
Around 1:05 AM from Marulan. That allows the drive plus the two-hour international check-in window. Outer localities in this region leave earlier again, and your confirmed time comes with the booking.
The price is set by the passengers you book. The four-seat column is what four people pay between them, not each — which is why group travel from out here usually beats the train.
Routinely, and at no extra charge for unsealed roads or long driveways. Give us the property name, the road surface and a landmark we can pick out in the dark.
No. Nothing is charged when you book and we do not hold card details. You pay the driver after drop-off by card, cash or PayID.
Yes to both, and both are published: Western Sydney Airport is $30 under the Sydney Airport fare for one or two passengers, and both cruise terminals are about $40 over it.
No deposit. Fixed fare published for your town. Pickup time worked backwards from your flight.
