Sydney Cruise Terminal to Hadley transfers

Two terminals Circular Quay and Rozelle. We service both — tell us which one is on your ticket.

Off the ship, through the terminal and straight home to Hadley. Down the Taralga Road to Goulburn first, then the Hume north. Give us your disembarkation time and the car is there for it — no waiting fee if the queue runs slow.

Where we meet you

Where will the driver be waiting?

At whichever terminal you come off at, on the arrivals side, after the luggage hall. Both have a designated pickup area and both get busy on a disembarkation morning, so the driver confirms the exact spot with you the day before rather than leaving you to find a car in a crowd.

OPT

Overseas Passenger Terminal

West Circular Quay, in the city centre. East of the Harbour Bridge, so it takes the largest ships - they never have to pass beneath it.

Coming off here you are in the middle of the city, which sounds convenient until you try to leave it with a fortnight of luggage on a Sunday morning. We pick up at the terminal, not three streets away.

WB

White Bay Cruise Terminal

Rozelle, about six kilometres west of the city centre. West of the Harbour Bridge, so it takes mid-sized ships - the ones that can pass under it.

Public transport to White Bay is thin compared with Circular Quay, which is the main reason people book a private transfer to it.

BOTH

We track the ship, not the schedule

Ships berth late, and occasionally somewhere other than the terminal on the ticket. We follow the actual arrival rather than the printed one, and the pickup moves with it at no charge.

Detail on both is on the cruise transfers page.

Getting home

How soon can we leave the terminal?

We track the ship and the terminal, not a clock. Disembarkation queues run late more often than they run early, and there is no waiting fee while yours does.

Wildlife on the Taralga Road at dawn, then the city approach at the far end.

Disembarkation day

How long does it really take to get off the ship?

Longer than the cruise line’s estimate, most of the time. Disembarkation is staggered, luggage is claimed in a hall rather than at a carousel, and on an international sailing there is customs at the end of it. We plan for the slow version and charge for neither.

Your slot is not your exit time

Passengers come off in groups over several hours. Tell us the slot you were given and we allow for it running late, because it usually does — and there is no waiting fee while it does.

Luggage hall, then customs

You collect your own cases from the hall before you reach the exit, and an international arrival adds a customs queue after that. Both are outside your control, so neither is charged to you.

Then a long drive, on no sleep

A disembarkation morning after a fortnight away is the worst possible time to drive two hours home. Most people on this run are asleep before Campbelltown, which is rather the point.

Pricing

How much is a cruise transfer to Hadley?

From $629 one way — a fixed, published fare for the number of passengers you book. Both terminals are the same fare: White Bay at Rozelle is $629 for one or two passengers, the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is $629. Tolls, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on per passenger are included; extra bags are $5 each.

5$729$729

Return trips are the same fare each way (plus $10 when we collect you from the airport), and booking both legs together is one conversation rather than two. If more people travel than were booked, the fare for the larger group applies.

Drop-offs in Hadley

Describe the gate once. Every pickup after that runs on the same notes. Hadley is a district name on the map and a handful of gates on the ground — $589, planned like every rural pickup, delivered the same way.

Flying instead of sailing?

Our airport fares are published: Hadley to Sydney Airport is $589 for one or two seats, up to $769 for the full eleven. A cruise transfer is a different destination and a different drive, but if you want a sense of the scale, that is the published benchmark — see the Hadley airport shuttle page.

The corridor: see the Taralga & Northern Villages page for what this route is like at the hours these runs actually leave.

The vehicles

Which vehicle carries the luggage?

Four sizes, and the fare follows the vehicle rather than the head count — so the price below is what the whole group pays between them, not each. Every one carries free child seats, and tolls and airport charges are already inside the figure.

Passenger count picks the vehicle first; luggage settles it. Four adults each with a large case and a carry-on is a People Mover booking in practice, not a Kia Carnival one — tell us what you are carrying and the right vehicle turns up. Before you book

Frequently asked about Hadley cruise transfers.

Where will you meet us after the cruise?

At whichever terminal you disembark at. The Overseas Passenger Terminal is at West Circular Quay; White Bay is at Rozelle, about six kilometres west. Tell us which when you book and the driver is there for it.

What if disembarkation runs late?

It usually does. We track the ship and there is no waiting fee - the pickup moves with the queue rather than charging you for it.

How much is a transfer from the terminal to Hadley?

From $629 one way for one or two passengers: $629 to White Bay, $629 to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, up to $809 for eleven. Fixed for the passengers booked, tolls and child seats included, and every seat count is in the table on this page.

Is White Bay hard to get to without a car?

Harder than Circular Quay, yes. Public transport to Rozelle is thin compared with the Quay, which is the main reason people book a private transfer for that terminal in particular.

Do you collect from the northern villages for cruises?

Yes. The Taralga Road leg comes first, so the leave-by time is earlier than the map distance suggests - we tell you the real number when we quote.

Can you drop us somewhere other than home?

Yes. A hotel, a relative's address or an onward pickup point in the district are all the same booking. Tell us the drop-off when you book and the fixed price covers it.

Who is driving you

Locally operated, accountable, and on the record.

We are a Goulburn-based operator working the Southern Tablelands. The run home from a terminal is the easiest job we do and the one people are most grateful for, because the alternative is driving two hours on the morning you least want to.

Our Sydney Airport fares for every town we service, Hadley included, are published on this site. Cruise fares will be too, once there is a real number to publish.

Coming home? We will be at the terminal.

Tell us the terminal, the date and how many of you are travelling. Fixed price in writing, no deposit, nothing charged until after drop-off.

Not sure which option suits you? Ask and we will tell you honestly.
